Hand-drawn Animation Practice: Frog

A quick animation of a frog drawing created to practice animation and just generally to make a cute frog. :)

I started the initial animation here by drawing some rough keyframes on individual layers in Photoshop and adding layers between them for the tween frames, all drawn by hand.

After adjusting the animation to improve squash and stretch, I ended up with this rough animation to use as a base.

Once I was happy with the draft, I created a cleaner version of each frame and added detail to the frog.

Next, I colored the frames to refine it further.

With the majority of the work done, I decided to adjust the frog's belly color and add a cute background to give the animation a bit more of a purpose than just practice.
