Pablo & His Favorite Kitty

As part of a recent fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project, I volunteered to create illustrations, emotes, short animations, and other forms of artwork per request for anyone who donated over $10. This illustration is of a donor's puppy Pablo the chihuahua and Pablo's favorite kitty, done using reference photos that were provided. Using the reference photos, I provided some concept sketches to give the donor some options for potential poses that could be used in the drawing and asked if they wanted to use any of the ones there or perhaps go in a different direction. In one of the options, I also included one of their other kitties. After they selected the bottom right pose from the concept art, I created a first pass at a full page illustration of it. They didn't want any further improvements other than providing a couple sizes for use as profile pictures, so this became the final version.
